FER Magazine Features CxRA Kitchen Project by Mc Gowan
Foodservice Equipment Reports, a magazine geared towards the professional food service industry, features CxRA, a commercial food production facility built by Mc Gowan, as its May cover story about best practices for building a centralized kitchen.
Christine Gurtler, design director at Jacobs Doland Beer, worked on the Catering by Restaurant Associates central kitchen.
Located in a renovated masonry building in Queens, N.Y., it features two cooking lines, dish- and pot-washing stations,walk-in coolers and freezers, dry storage and an ice station, according to general contractor Mc Gowan.
The CxRA interior renovation project entailed the conversion of an existing masonry building to create a centralized food production and event facility.
