UBS required a complete renovation of the financial firm’s offices located at the prestigious Regions Bank Tower in Orlando.
The newly-built facility houses the MUNI global securities trading room, a reception area, fifty private offices, eight conference and meeting rooms, administrative offices, IT and telecommunications rooms, an employee pantry and a wellness room for nursing mothers.
Interior finishes include soffit, solid surface and acoustical tile ceilings, Fry Reglet wall trim details around fabric wall panels, wall coverings, a 3-D tile wall in the reception, millwork cabinetry as well as quarry tile, vinyl planking and carpet flooring.
The elaborate ceilings in the public areas are installed at five different heights. The offices feature transparent and patterned McGrory glass divider walls and high-end lighting fixtures including luminescent, halogen, and low voltage at the perimeters of the soffit ceilings. Extensive access control measures were installed to ensure the security of the facility.
Mc Gowan installed mission critical systems and equipment including two CRAC units and a related infrastructure, as well as all new MEP systems. The HVAC system in both offices and technology rooms features high efficiency HEPA filters.
To allow UBS to continue operations throughout the renovation the work was divided into five phases. Despite that scheduling challenge the Mc Gowan team completed construction in just five months.
