PNC Financial Services Group retained Mc Gowan to serve as general contractor for a series of ground-up and interior fit-out projects throughout Florida. Constructed as one of these assignments is an office fit-out of a mortgage processing center in Jacksonville, which has received LEED Gold certification.
The project encompassed a gut demolition and complete build-out of the 58,000 square foot space. The office features two elevator lobbies, a reception area, twenty-four private offices, nine conference and meeting rooms, open space offices, two pantries and data, telecommunication, as well as mission critical facilities.
The design incorporates numerous high-end architectural elements such as drywall soffits with concealed lighting, expansive glass divider walls, Fry Reglet and Lumicor wall panel systems in the elevator lobbies and carpet flooring.
An extensive technological and telecommunications infrastructure was installed as well as new MEP systems. The facility includes seven air-tight data/server rooms with FM 200 chemical sprinkler systems, halogen fire suppression systems and dedicated Liebert cooling units.
Construction work was phased in order to allow the facility to remain in use throughout the project. The team incorporated extensive noise control and dust prevention measures. Mc Gowan delivered the project under budget and on schedule.
Mc Gowan was also awarded the new PNC Bank branch locations in Coral Springs and Weston, Florida.
