LampWorks Loft Apartments

The "LampWorks" complex near Red Bull Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey is an industrial site with historical importance. Home to Thomas Edison's original light bulb manufacturing facility in 1908, Albanese Development has entrusted Mc Gowan with the residential conversion and new construction of 380,000 square feet, planned for completion in 2017.

This urban development project, valued at over $60 million, will result in creating a vibrant loft-style residential apartment community withing the existing complex of three fully renovated and modernised existing structures. The project also encompasses the addition of three floors of new construction and a pool to the complex's main industrial building.

With Mc Gowan overseeing Construction Management, the project scope provides for a complete conversion from industrial use to residential living including installation of all new apartments, MEP systems and building common area improvements. The project's newly constructed floors will include a roof top pool and patio as well as interior parking in the main building.
