JP Morgan Chase retained Mc Gowan to provide General Contracting services for the construction of several new bank branch buildings across New York and New Jersey.
These ground-up project scopes included installation of masonry block foundations, light steel and metal gauge structural walls with a split face, brick and masonry façades and new concrete slabs on grade. In addition, the new branch facilities received extensive landscaping, surface parking lots and modern interior finishes.
The project scope included Andersen windows and a custom manufactured storefront and entrance. Steel bar joists support the rubber shingle and flat rubber Majestic EcoStar roof. The new utilities included a 280-foot-deep water well, a 2,000 gallon septic system, a new transformer and an underground three-phase 208 volt electrical connection.
A paved surface parking lot was installed with an asphalt connector road and a new lawn irrigation system was installed for the landscaped 1.3 acre lot. Outdoor details included signage and twelve lamp posts.
Interior finishes included stained hardwood, custom carpet tile, ceramic tile flooring, acoustical tiles and drywall soffit ceilings, pendant and recessed lighting fixtures, painted drywall and a cubicle partition system.
MEP systems included a new gas connection, two rooftop HVAC units, electric heaters, and new security / data / telecom systems. The split HVAC system features a separate distribution network that serves the telecom/data room and the ATM foyer.
