The Maximilian

A LEED-certified modern luxury residential apartment building with Manhattan skyline views, The Maximilian contains 188 rental units.

First floor amenities include a community center, lounge, reading room, fitness facility and bicycle storage area. The building also provides its residents use of a furnished rooftop patio area complete with barbeque equipment.

The property was declared a brownfield site. The Mc Gowan project team installed a major vapor intrusion system as well as injection wells in connection with its activities to safely remove the hazardous soil material.

The building was constructed utilizing a poured-in-place method for reinforced concrete and included a foundation system comprised of steel H-Piles and pile caps topped with an on-grade structural slab.
