This office interiors project for the firm Palantir Technologies in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan occupies two floors featuring a reception area, elevator lobby, gang bathrooms, open space office area, conference rooms, private offices, game room, storage rooms, bathrooms and a kitchenette/dining area.
The finishes include polished concrete floors, carpet, and ceramic tile flooring, gypsum, ACT and exposed ceilings, glass partitions & doors, wood doors, millwork cabinetry and desks, and painting and wallcovering. All new MEP systems including HVAC ductwork & equipment, electrical distribution, lighting, telecommunications, sprinklers and plumbing were installed.
Mc Gowan delivered the project on an accelerated schedule of only twelve weeks from the beginning of demolition to turnover. The team developed and implemented a strategic logistics and scheduling plan that included increased manpower and a detailed deliveries schedule for both long lead and short lead materials and equipment.
