IAVI Office Headquarters

The headquarters offices for the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative feature a reception area, elevator lobby, open space office area, conference rooms, private offices, storage rooms and a kitchenette/dining area. 

The finishes include hardwood, carpet, and ceramic tile flooring, sheetrock, acoustical tile, and exposed ceilings, custom glass folding partition, glass storefronts, wood doors, sheetrock walls, paint and wall covering finishes, and millwork cabinetry.

New MEP systems were installed including HVAC ductwork, electrical distribution, lighting, telecommunications, sprinkler and plumbing.

Mc Gowan delivered the project on an accelerated schedule of only twelve weeks from the beginning of demolition to turnover. The project management team developed and implemented a strategic logistics and scheduling plan that included increased manpower as well as a detailed deliveries schedule for both long-lead and short-lead materials and equipment.
